Today, we discussed:
Changing States
We all feel our changing energy states between positive and negative and back again.
Whilst we mostly want to feel light, optimistic and positive, there is a natural ebb and flow between the two, which we must respect.
What causes fluctuations and switches between the two?
Both internal factors (how we’re feeling, what we’re thinking) and external factors (who and what’s going on around us).
What Can We Do To Encourage a change from – to + ?
First, accept that it’s ok to be feeling low or down a the moment and give yourself the space to sit in it. a
And even lean into it. Embracing it.
Sometimes it can take time to identify what’s going on and how you’re feeling.
Then, we can pick from our “playbook” to decide how to look after ourselves best:
It’s not always easy or feel possible…but when you hit these squeeze points or roadblocks and feel a bit stuck…like we all do from time to time and always will.
Doing your best to be PRO-ACTIVE instead or RE-ACTIVE will help you manage your mood and energy state more and more effectively.
