Over the course of this 5 part series I’m going to delve deeper into some of the key principles for you to think about to help you get the most out of your fat loss efforts.
So what does LEAN for Life mean?
Well, I know it might sound a bit cliched but I look at it like this
The first part LEAN stands for Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition
You have to concentrate on each of these 4 areas to some degree or another if you want to create life changing results for you body.
The main reason for this is because they’re interconnected – they all affect one another – so looking at any one area in isolation is always doomed for failure.
For example, think of a time when you’ve had a terrible night’s sleep making you hit the snooze button a few more times
Instead of getting to the gym before work the way you planned, you stay in bed.
Which in turn leaves you rushing out the door – meaning you skip breakfast.
Making it almost impossible to resist the sweet temptation of the donuts and biscuits when you’re starving at your mid morning meeting.
You may have been kicking yourself for eating something you didn’t want to and not getting to the gym, when really not getting enough sleep was the main issue in the first place.
This is only one of many examples of how these areas affect one another.
The second part, the For Life bit means, simply that, forever or for good –
you don’t just want to feel and look good for a brief moment in time – like for a holiday or event – and then take the slippery slope back to square one I’ve seen people take so many times!
Instead, you want to continue to look and feel your best all year round!
So you better be able to answer yes to this question:
Is the approach I’m taking something I can commit to doing for the rest of my life?
My approach to fat loss and getting in shape isn’t glamorous, easy or flashy.
But it’s simple and extremely effective.
It’s based on how your body works and not my opinion. And it’s been proven to work for many people, many times over.
If you have any questions about my approach, feel free to get in touch, I’d love to answer them!
See you in the next video,
